The Portwest PW3 Flame Resistant Class 1 Sweatshirt provides exceptional protection for workers exposed to heat and hazardous environments. Constructed from Modaflame fabric with 60% modacrylic, 39% cotton, and 1% carbon fibre, it offers inherent flame resistance that does not diminish with washing. The garment safeguards against radiant, convective, and contact heat while ensuring superior comfort due to its high cotton content.
This sweatshirt features a ribbed collar, cuffs, and hem for a secure, comfortable fit and includes heat-applied segmented reflective tape for enhanced visibility. It incorporates a fully elasticated waistband and anti-static properties, making it suitable for ATEX environments. Additionally, the fabric has a 40+ UPF rating to block 98% of UV rays. Certified to EN ISO 11612, EN 1149-5, and EN 61482 standards, it meets stringent safety requirements for industrial use.
