Portwest Modaflame Coverall

The Portwest Modaflame Coverall is crafted from a durable blend of 60% Modacrylic, 39% cotton, and 1% carbon fibre, ensuring inherent flame resistance that does not rely on chemical treatments. This fabric is naturally flame retardant, self-extinguishing, and provides reliable protection against radiant, convective, and contact heat, maintaining its performance after repeated washing.

Designed for safety and comfort, the coverall features triple-stitched seams for enhanced durability, an action back to allow freedom of movement, and two-tier knee pad pockets for adjustable protection. Practical elements include concealed brass zips on chest pockets, a quick side access system, a radio loop for secure clipping, and hook and loop cuffs for a secure fit.

Additional benefits include protection against electrostatic discharge hazards and 40+ UPF rated fabric that blocks 98% of UV rays, making it suitable for varied working environments.

The fibres used in this fabric include 60% Modacrylic, an inherently flame retardant fibre that does not combust, the fibres are difficult to ignite and will self-extinguish, providing natural flame retardancy without the need for an FR chemical treatment in the textile process. These fibres are blended with 39% cotton and 1% carbon fibre for added strength and protection against electrostatic discharge hazards.
