Portwest FR Molten Metal Trousers offer exceptional protection in demanding industrial environments such as aluminium, iron, and steel works. Constructed from Aluflame fabric, these trousers provide inherent flame resistance and high-level defense against molten metal splashes, meeting Class 2 welding protection standards. Certified to EN ISO 11612, EN ISO 11611, EN 1149-5, and EN 61482 standards, they ensure safety in hazardous settings, including ATEX environments.
Designed for durability and comfort, they withstand industrial washing at 75°C and tunnel drying at 155°C, with the option of domestic care for long-lasting performance. Features include an extendable leg length, half-elasticated waist, multiple pockets for ample storage, and a 40+ UPF rating to block 98% of UV rays, blending safety with practicality and ease of wear.
